Maaloula Aramaic corpus
Collaboration with Ghattas Eid.
I created a corpus resource for Maaloula Aramaic with Ghattas Eid. We aligned audio recordings from Werner Arnold’s work in 1985 with handcrafted transliterations of the texts. The resulting dataset, the Maaloula Aramaic Speech Corpus (MASC), is available for download from Zenodo.
