Author for "Techniktagebuch"
A German-language community blog documenting everyday use of technology.
I’m a member of the Techniktagebuch community blog about everyday technology use. We won a Grimme Online Award for the project in 2019. Some articles I contributed:
- How I hold my keyboard during video calls and why
- Playing board games remotely during pandemic times
- Going to the theater with some friends, remotely, during pandemic times
- Getting a bad haircut because the reference selfie I brought only showed me from the front
- The sound of my mother typing was the first sound I ever fell asleep to
- Why I sometimes signed my SMS texts with “Viele Grüße, früher” back in Nokia times
- Why sending a toilet emoji and a coffee emoji means I’m about to call you
At the 2019 re:publica conference in Berlin, we printed out the whole blog on tractor-feed paper and performed a multi-day reading of our articles in chronological order.
